So I was standing in the checkout of Target and busted out the ol iPhone to start taking pictures of wine bottles.
I didn't even buy any but they were so cute! Can you see that the label says Middle Sister? and below - Monogamy? Cute - right? or have I lost my mind?
So my 3 year old says, "oh Mommy - you are taking pictures of da wine bottles????"
The woman behind me in line giggled.
Now the on to the background of this story and why my children are so familiar with wine bottles. This Christmas I made a ton of those wine bottle lamps - have you seen them? I should do a "how to" for the blog because they turned out great and I got a TON of great feedback.
ANYHOO - I got a bunch of wine bottles from a lady that had a big party on Freecycle and I was a wine bottle making machine there for a while. The kids kept asking me, "Mommy, are we going to give our teachers their wine bottles soon?" I would say, "let's call them gifts or lamps ok?" I mean - don't get me wrong - I love a good glass of wine but there for a while - we talked a lot about wine bottles - a lot.)
Anyway - my 3 year old asked me as we were walking away why we didn't buy them so Mommy could 'tart the drilling again.

Oh well - the whole thing gave me an idea for a blog post which is what it's all about - right?

You need to post a picture of the lamps! Those wine labels are hilarious, I bet Target sells out.
