The Tale of a Cupcake

Hello - I am a Pink Piggy Cupcake. I was requested by a very cute 4 year old who goes by the nickname of Noodle (long story - another post). I was created to celebrate said Noodle's "unbirthday" at preschool. This is an awesome thing that was created by a teacher who had a summer birthday herself and decided that those summer birthdays should get to celebrate during the school year!
I had an interesting morning before I was eaten because the Mom that created me - took me and 11 of my friends to the gym! Imagine - 12 pink frosted piggy cupcakes - traipsing around a gym with a bunch of starving people lurking around? I felt fear I tell you!

The Mom did a good job though because she was worried for our little frosted cupcake selves in the car - this is Texas and it have been hitting the 80's and 90's here much to the Mom's delight. The crazy Mom took me in a cute little Snapware box lined with aluminum foil into a spin class - yes - I said spin class!

I got to sit on the floor under her bike and watch her sweat - very impressive really- and also probably good since I am pretty sure that I saw her sampling one of my cupcake friends on the morning of our creation.

Anyway - then I made it safely to preschool and was promptly devoured by a small group of very cute 4 year old's who wished my Noodle well so - all in all - a good ending for me - well as good as it typically gets for a cupcake and all!

Stay tuned next week for the harrowing adventure - The Tale of the Meatloaf.

Pray for Tyson

This is a fellow Moms club member and her sweet baby boy. I told her that I had some awesome prayer warriors on my blog and I would post his picture. I will post updates but please pass along. He has had a rough road his entire life but from the looks of Molly's most recent update - this looks very serious.

How cute is he??????
Photobucket

Well, Tyson had some procedures done a few weeks ago and I have since then been waiting for the results. Doctors wanted to talk to doctors and get the correct information. I got the call today about them. His heart has shifted to the left causing irreparable damage and pressure on the left side. He is not getting enough blood and that has speed up the damage causing process. They do not know how or why this happened. In all they are concerned and will be scheduling a heart cath. by the end of the month to determine the type of surgery he will need. They also said that this will have to be fixed surgically and it will be very risky with his other existing conditions. He will be on several medications until then such as an antibiotic, blood thinner, blood pressure med, asthma med and then still the breathing treatments. I will keep you updated as I know more. He needs prayers again (me too!) that the Lord's angels keep watching over him and for the strength to keep fighting. As a mother, I need the strength and courage to watch my baby continue to go through this, to keep my wits together, to remember that we all belong to God and that he has a plan for Tyson. Please pass this one to anyone that will lift him in prayer, I can only assume the Heaven's know his name well by now.

Please pray and pass around.  I will send updates.

Argyle Police Blotter

No joke - actual summary of incident reports recently made to the staff of Argyle Police Department and published in the Cross Timbers Gazette.
An officer spotted a vehicle weaving between lanes on Hwy 377. After stopping the vehicle for a possible DWI, the officer noted that the driver was paing more attention to her Whataburger than to her driving. No charges were filed.
A caller reported that his car was hit by a black cow at the 900 block of Old Justin Road. Police were unable to locate the errant cow.
Police investigated a report that a bull was stuck in a fence along I-35W and determined that it was leaning over the fence to eat. Two days later, a smilar call cae in from the same area with the same outcome.
A woman wanted to file a complaint against another motorist for "flipping" her off on FM 407.
How great are these??????????? I am going to have to keep up with this every week!

Cold and Flu Season my foot!

There is no such thing as cold and flu season! That is just something that they make up to give us mothers of many small children hope. This day of April I have one child with an ear infection, one child with strep throat, and one child on the other computer with a nebulizer. I knew that February was too easy this year - I just knew it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok - complaints off of my system - I really should not complain - I mean - here I am - in my house with three children with small potatoes illnesses. Every time this happens to me - I am so so so so grateful for every day that we are healthy and I pray pray pray for the children out there that really aren't healthy and their amazing Mama's that somehow keep it all together. You are my real heroes and this post is for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband - he makes me laugh

My son and his little chubby arms wrapped around my neck.

I am also thankful for........

My friends - I really don't know what I would do without them!
