What did you do today?

My house is messy and I ran no errands. I did not make any major decisions today or really interact with many adults. What did I do with myself all day you ask? ( A question my husband knows better than form.)


I was happy to be outside and look for the long ball.

I trimmed some little fingers and toes and did a little light reading while I was at it.







I looked through my new cookbook that I just checked out from the library.






I let the children eat chocolate.








I made myself a yummy turkey sandwich for lunch with garlic bread!







I put chicken and rice in the crockpot for dinner.







Then I decided that I want tortilla soup (something for which I have a small obsession) and put some of that in my other crockpot. I really love my crockpots - yes two - I could really make use of a third........







I tied 4 shoes 3,784 times.







I taught my 3 year old - high 5, on the side, way up high, down low, you're too slow. Very important stuff.






I held hands - a lot.







I let the children take pictures with my iPhone.






I referred to myself as the Queen Mum all day because it made them laugh and took a picture of myself and my friend the phone while waiting for my oldest at school.



And then - well I don't know what comes next. I am glad I get to see. I am sure it will be very important and productive!
